Allison Bio
"Warm, creative, inspiring,
genuine, enthusiastic"
Following graduation from
a leading university in California with a Bachelor
of Science in Marketing Management, Allison spent
the next 13 years in management positions in the
US business sector. Holding positions in a variety
of industries (including defense electronics, commercial
development, cosmetics, film and television, fashion,
and grocery) she gained a greater perspective on
a number of industries while observing some commonalities
in human behavior.
Moving to Australia in 1994,
Allison completed a Graduate Bachelor of Education
at James Cook University and
co-founded A & A – Leaders in Corporate Training
(now trading as Harmonious Solutions). Running her
own training and consulting business has allowed Allison
to design and deliver hundreds of training/strategic
planning programs in Australia and overseas while witnessing
the struggles common to most organizations. Belief
in the importance of interpersonal skills and balance
in the work place has led Allison to pursue a career
path educating those who wish to excel in their personal
and professional lives. Believing that balance and
harmony in these two areas can assist us in reaching
our true potential, Allison employs interactive learning
techniques, which stimulate learner participation and
a greater integration of existing knowledge. The focus
is on personal development and accountability as ultimately
the success of an organization is tied with the success
of the individuals within it. She is able to create
training packages that tie in with the organizational
culture and strategy for growth. Coupled with an understanding
of human behavior, the training, consulting or coaching
can produce results that directly affect the bottom
line, productivity, and morale.
Allison also offers coaching for individuals who see
a gap between where they are currently and where they
wish to be. She is able to work with them individually
to assess strengths, align with where they wish to
be, create strategies to get them there faster, and
facilitate personal growth.
