Personal
and Corporate Coaching
Personal Coaching… Is it for you?
"Let me hold
that place of expansion for you..."
Coaching works when
the following two key factors are present –
- The client is willing to
grow and change and is willing to take action
- There is a gap between where
they are now and where they wish to be
There are many reasons why people seek a private coach… some of these
reasons are listed below:
 |
They are looking for more balance
between work and home |
 |
They are feeling burnt out,
stressed, or flat |
 |
They feel like they are stuck
or going nowhere with their lives |
 |
They are in a transition phase
and looking for the next move |
 |
They have lost their job or
relationship |
 |
They are not having any fun
or have lost their creative edge |
 |
They realize the need for change
but lack the courage or direction to take action |
 |
Their career is going nowhere |
 |
They wish to increase their
financial prospects |
If you can relate to the above, read on to discover
what you can expect from the process:
THE ROLE OF THE
COACH:
The coach is there to help you achieve your best and will expect no less from
you. The coach will believe in you and encourage you to take action, set
and achieve goals, believe in yourself, reach your true potential. Unlike
consulting the coach is not there to give you the answers or take action for
you, rather they are there to guide and encourage because you will be creating
the life you desire.
The role of the coach is different to the role of the consultant, trainer,
mentor, or therapist as the coach is there with one agenda only… Yours. The
coach is there to help with your clarity, provide some structure to achieve
lasting results, and support to achieve it all.
The coach will:
 |
Listen unconditionally |
 |
Provide support |
 |
Help you see the positive |
 |
Hold you to your commitments |
 |
Remind you of your strengths |
 |
Challenge your thinking and
beliefs |
 |
Provide perspective |
YOUR ROLE AS A CLIENT:
Your role will be to show up, take action as required,
complete tasks and “homework”, and believe
in yourself.
How
to maximize your results from a coach
THE COACHING PROCESS:
Each week you will spend 45 - 60 minutes with your coach
either on the phone or in person. During that time
you will be working towards a goal/s that you set together. In
the interim between appointments you will have access
to your coach through email or the phone and your coach
will contact you occasionally to “check in”
and see how you are doing.
